aitools-utils is a collection of mostly unremarkable, yet nonetheless essential, utilities that have been needed for Program D and related projects but have not been found in other libraries. In many cases it would be desirable to replace these custom utilities with tools available from other projects, such as Jakarta Commons. This little project seeks its own demise, hoping to find more widely-used replacements elsewhere for all or most of its functionality.

aitools-utils is being used in Program D as of version 4.7. It is also being used in an example implementation of xAIML.

The API docs provide the best available overview of what's in this project.
